For U.S. citizens and permanent residents, send the resident application form and $40 application fee to the Graduate School. For international students, send the international application form and $45 application fee to the Graduate School.

Request that the registrar of each college or university attended send offical transcripts directly to the Graduate School. Transcripts of MTU coursework need not be sent.

The GRE is required of students who did not receive their degree from a U.S. institution. The GRE is strongly recommended for all other students. Minimum scores of 75% quantitative, 75% analytical and 50% verbal are required. It is also strongly recommended that the Computer Science advanced test be taken. A TOEFL score above 580 (237 computer based, 92 internet based) is required for international applicants whose native language is not English. All test scores should be sent to the Graduate School.
