The CS Ph.D. program prepares students for research and teaching in academic, corporate, and government settings. The following policies and procedures have been established with this in mind. Questions about CS policies may be addressed to either the Graduate Director or the CS Chair.
In this section requirements for earning a Ph.D. along with many suggestions for students and faculty are given. When one is only interested in the requirements or a quick reference, one should refer to Table 1, which lists the requirements in a time line format along with the form(s) which need to be turned in.
