Japan Trip 2003.12.16

This trip likes a dream. In 10 days, we were skiing in Hokkaido, hiking in Fuji Mountain, and enjoying a wonderful Christmas in Tokyo. My best friends, Fujisawa San and his wife gave me a lot of advice and support for this trip. We also met with several new good friends. On the day I left Tokyo, they went to airport in surprise. I was so touched at that moment. I miss them all so much and I hope I will go to Tokyo again soon. Cameras give us an opportunity to retrace the track we passed through. Each photo is a piece of never-forgettable sweet memory shared in our heart. Friendship likes a thread linking them together. The laughing, sweating, breathing etc. as decors make this trip so valuable and memorable in my whole life.

This is the hotel we stayed. Feel the sense of luxury? The scene is beautiful, isn't it?		Rusutsu Resort is one of the best and largest ski resort in Hokkaido. It is near Sapporo.
We were skiing all day along. I am a snowboarder.		On the first day evening, we had a birthday party for one team member.
Fresh Sea food!!!. The best in Hokkaido, Look at the size of the crab. The top cover was larger than two regular palms		In the rightmost photo, it is sea urchin. I feel its taste likes peanut butter a little.
Another dinner. I want to go back and eat again.		At the last day, I took the airplane back to Tokyo. The photo was shoot above Tokyo bay.

We rented a blue 2003 Suburu Legacy and drove from Tokyo to Fuji Mountain. The freeway in Japan is well constructed. Fujisawa San drove at the speed more than 160km/hr. I felt this speed a little fast. Maybe it is common in Japan.

We stopped at a lake-side hotel. We can see the whole Fuji mountain with lake right through the windows of our room. We took a nice Japanese style spa at first. After hot spa, you will be served free cold beer. The feeling is so good. The dinner is also traditional. Checking out photos above. You may agree with eating can be an art. On the second day, we drove to climb Fuji mountain. The road ends at the middle of the mountain. Temperature is still low. A lot of places are still covered by snow. Only pines can live at this height. Later, we went to a park near the mountain, named like eight seas in the neighbor of ninja. There are beautiful eight ponds. We can see through the water and find a lot of big fishes. The lunch is the traditional home-style noodle with soap (right-bottom one).
