I am Scott Pomerville, a PhD student at Michigan Technological University. Since recieving my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Michigan Tech, I have continued my education, primarily working in the area of Computer Architecture with my advisor Dr. Soner Onder. I am particularly interested in teaching, and have experience teaching classes of varying sizes.

Current Projects:

  • Currently working on SCALE, a proposed scalable architecture that takes lessons from statically scheduled VLIW processors, and uses a new representation to reduce the need for large numbers of reservation stations.

Past Projects:

  • Designing a new novel cache design capable of handing speculative and out-of-order stores, as well as allowing for simplified forwarding logic.
  • Created Cycle-Accurate Simulatior of a Non-Blocking Cache, integrating it with a processor simulator to better simulate memory heirarchy.
