Here are a few important notes:
- Do not assume the batteries have been fully
charged. Always charge them before use. Normally,
it takes less than three hours. If you plan to take many pictures
and use the LCD monitor frequently, please bring with you another
set of batteries.
- The 28mm UV filter is always mounted on the camera lens.
If you need to use the circular polarizer,
replace the UV filter with the circular polarizer.
Otherwise, vignetting may occur when zooming out. More precisely,
the corner may become dark (i.e., vignetting).

see more about the effects of using polarizers.
- Always keep the lens cap on the lens when
the camera is not being used.
- If you shoot outdoor frequently, You will welcome the Hoodman
monitor hood to cover the LCD monitor. Otherwise, you may not see
anything on the LCD monitor at all in a sunny day.

see more about the Hoodman LCD monitor hood.
-
Unmount the wide angle or tele converter when it is not being used.
Since the converter makes the lens unit much heavier, always
handle the camera with hands.
-
Always mount the Skylight filter on the wide angle converter
for protection purpose, because the front element of the lens
can easily be damaged.
- The camera bag is of belt type for hand-free operation.

interior.
- The Nikon Camera Bag is a more conventional and has a shoulder belt
and a handle. Depending on your work, you perhaps only need only
one of these two bags.
