The Computational Science and Engineering (CS&E) Ph.D. program is a nondepartmental, multidisciplinary program concentrated in applying methods and techniques from the fields of computer science and mathematics to emerging problems in sciences and engineering. This program brings together faculty and students from across campus who have a common interest in and need for computational oriented research beyond the capabilities of the average non-computer science investigator and typical desktop machines.
