Overview

The CS Department operates seven labs with over 100 workstations: The Language, SciFi and Pizza Labs contain postscript compatible laser printers. The Department also operates four servers that are primarily for access over the MTU network (from other labs on campus, from dorm rooms, from dial-up lines, etc.), and a file-only server for student files. All machines have Internet access.

The labs are generally open all day and evenings. The PizzaLab is reserved for CS 1121 at various times. The labs are staffed by paid consultants and maintained by a dedicated system administrator and the staff of the CEC.
