BS Computer Science - Applications Concentration
(Effective Fall 2005)

The computer science option provides breadth in computer science. At the same time, this option allows freedom to complete a degree according to the student's individual interests and is especially recommended for those interested in graduate work in computer science.

  The appications area must be approved by the Departments Undergraduate Committee (before you start courses in the area.) If the area is in engineering or certain sciences, MA 1135 is replaced by MA 1160, MA 2160, MA 2330, and one additional 3 s.h. mathematics elective.

The purpose of these electives are to provide students with the opportunity to choose courses related to their own personal interests.
