Beginning of semester notices:

• On Monday (9/1/2014), I sent out a test message to the class mailing list. Everyone who has registered for the class should receive the messages to this list. Please let me know if you know someone who did not receive this message but should have.
• I use the class mailing list to communicate issues in advance, and for homework and exam clarifications. I always try to repeat them in class but it is important that you check your mailbox at least once a day (more frequently around exams or homework due dates).
• The mailing list accepts messages from its subscribers (CS5811 students). You are welcome to post class relevant material.
