CS3311: Formal Models of Computation
CS3311: Formal Models of Computation
Spring 2022
Beginning of semester notices:
-
Test message:
On Thursday (January 6, 2022), I sent out a welcome message to the class mailing
list. Everyone who has registered for the class should receive the
messages to this list.
The email list is updated automatically
every evening to incorporate adds and drops. If you registered on
or after January 5, you can see the message on Canvas.
-
Class e-mailing list:
I use the class mailing list to communicate issues in advance, and for homework and
exam clarifications.
I always try to repeat them in class but it is important that you check
your MTU mailbox at least once a day.
-
When you send e-mail to me:
I ask you to follow the following simple rules when sending email
to me. This is because I get more than a 100 messages each day,
sometimes more than 50 within an hour. I need
to have the keywords to find your messages.
-
Please put "CS3311" followed by the topic of your message on the subject line.
-
Always write a brief and explanatory subject.
If you reply to an older message to get my
address, remember to change the subject line to the current subject.
These ensure that your message gets VIP attention.
